Frequently Asked Questions
My work is a combination of photojournalism and romantic portraiture. I'm inspired by nature and beautiful landscapes and will gladly climb mountains along side you and wade in rivers to get that epic shot. I want you to look at your images and be transported back to moments that you may have forgotten or perhaps didn't know exist.
Where are you based out of?
I'm super uncomfortable in front of the camera. Is that okay?
---Actually, 99% of my clients say the same thing. It's part of my job to make you feel comfortable with me so I can capture you interacting with each other naturally. I'll help guide you a little if you need it but I'll never pose you. I want you to look back at your photos and see yourselves as you are normally together-not some weird stiff versions.
I see you photograph weddings all over the world, what are your travel fees?
---- I'm my happiest when I'm exploring a new area and find the most inspiration when I travel, whether that is far or near, so there are no additional fees to have me with you for your wedding if it's in California. I don't think you should have to pick your photographer based solely on whether they are local to your destination or far away nor the costs associated with that so I only ask you for a plane ticket and place to lay my head if you're getting married across the country or overseas.
What are your rates?
----Wedding packages vary dependent on if it's an elopement or a full wedding but let's get the conversation started here
Do you work with a second shooter?
----Yes! I have a large network of amazing photographer friends who run their own businesses.
How do you feel about same sex couples?
----I'm an advocate. One love, always.
How many images will I receive?
----You can expect a minimum of 500 fully edited images, it really just depends on the flow of your day.
When can I expect them?
----You'll receive them within 8 weeks of your wedding day, sooner if it's not the busy season. For engagement sessions delivery is within two weeks.
We love what we see! Now what?
----Awesome, contact me and we'll set up a coffee or drink date to get to know each other. If we're not in the same town then I love Google Video chats. For me to capture the best images, It's really important that we get along well. When you decide you want to book me I ask for a retainer and a signed agreement.
Do you have insurance?
----Yes, let me know if you need a copy.
