Location: San Miguel de Allende, Mexico
Venue: Casa Hyder
San Miguel de Allende is a beautiful little mountain town perfect for an intimate destination wedding that’s nestled in the eastern state of Guanajuato in central Mexico. Known for it’s artist community and architecture it’s cobblestone streets are brimming with history. Andres grew up outside of town and he and Jessica have spent many summers strolling the streets and exploring. Jessica fell in love with the beauty of the area, so when they became engaged, it was the natural choice for their destination wedding.
Some of my favorite memories from that day:
-The weekend of their wedding just so happened to be the weekend Mexico was playing in the World Cup so Andres and his boys got to watch the game as they dressed.
-Jessica’s sister singing during the ceremony which brought tears to many eyes
-The hilarious speeches, which were spoken half in Spanish, yet even those who don’t speak it still laughed and laughed and laughed
-How much fun everyone was having, especially when a sombrero made an appearance
-Seeing the grandmothers party harder and later than half of the younger wedding guests
