Big Sur Elopement Packages

Thoughtfully designed experiences for couples who want their day to feel intentional, unrushed, and deeply connected.

Big Sur invites a slow pace — where redwoods meet the ocean, cliffs glow at sunset, and love feels bigger than anything else. If you’re dreaming of an intimate, intentional wedding surrounded by the wild beauty of nature, I’m here to help you create a day that feels effortless, meaningful, and entirely yours.

I return to Big Sur each October for a small number of elopements. I currently have limited dates available for October 2026

Not sure why October? Here’s why it’s the best month to elope in Big Sur — and why dates go fast.

Why couples choose me

A grounded, experienced guide for your Big Sur elopement

I approach elopements with a steady, grounded presence — creating space for your day to unfold naturally, without pressure or performance. With over a decade of experience photographing intimate weddings and elopements, I know how to work fluidly with changing light, weather, and landscapes while keeping the experience calm and intentional. My role is not to direct every moment, but to guide gently — offering clarity where it’s needed and stepping back when it’s not.

Couples choose me not only for the images, but for how the day feels. Unrushed. Supported. Thoughtfully held from start to finish.

I’ll be photographing elopements along the Central Coast in October and have limited availability remaining.

Where redwoods meet the ocean, cliffs glow at sunset, and the landscape itself sets the pace.

Big Sur invites you to move differently — to be present, to linger, to let go of expectations and experience your day as it unfolds.

I approach elopements here with equal parts intuition and experience, creating space for moments to happen naturally while quietly guiding the day so it feels grounded, calm, and effortless.

Big Sur Elopement Experiences

Your day is designed to feel effortless from start to finish — so you can focus on each other while I take care of the details. I offer four thoughtfully designed elopement collections — each created for a different way of experiencing Big Sur, from quiet, intimate vows to full-day, immersive adventures. Every collection is grounded in the same intention: an unrushed day, honest connection, and imagery that reflects how it felt, not just how it looked.

What’s included in every collection:

• Personalized location guidance and permit support.
• Timeline planning built around light, weather, and the flow of your day.
• A calm, grounded presence on your wedding day.
• Gentle direction when needed — never forced or overly posed.
• High-resolution, artfully edited images delivered in a private online gallery.

4 Reasons to Elope in Big Sur

01

A landscape that naturally sets the tone

Big Sur has a way of slowing everything down. With towering redwoods, open coastline, and dramatic cliffs, the landscape naturally encourages presence — allowing your day to unfold without rushing or distraction.

02

Privacy without isolation

Despite its iconic beauty, Big Sur offers quiet corners and lesser-known stretches that feel intimate and removed, without sacrificing ease of access. It’s a rare balance of seclusion and simplicity.

03

Light that creates depth and atmosphere

From soft coastal fog to golden evening glow, Big Sur’s light is constantly shifting — creating depth, mood, and movement throughout the day. It’s an environment that rewards patience and allows imagery to feel organic and timeless.

04

A setting that feels intentional, not performative

Big Sur lends itself to elopements that feel grounded and honest — focused on connection rather than production. There’s space here to be fully present, to breathe, and to experience your day without needing to fill every moment.

Top Elopement Locations in Big Sur

Big Sur holds an incredible range of landscapes — from quiet redwood groves to dramatic coastal cliffs shaped by the sea. Over the years, I’ve carefully scouted locations that not only photograph beautifully, but allow your day to feel calm, private, and deeply intentional.

These are a few of my favorite places for a Big Sur elopement that feels truly your own.

Garrapata State Park

Wild, rugged, and endlessly photogenic, Garrapata offers some of the most iconic coastal views in Big Sur. Golden grasses meet dramatic cliffs here, creating a setting that feels expansive while still allowing for quiet, intimate moments along the shoreline.

Especially beautiful in the late afternoon and at sunset.

Pfeiffer Beach

Known for its striking rock formations and moody coastal atmosphere, Pfeiffer Beach creates a dramatic and deeply atmospheric setting. The light shifts quickly here, which makes thoughtful timing essential — but when everything aligns, the result is unforgettable.

Ideal for couples drawn to artistic, ocean-forward landscapes.

Glen Oaks / Redwood Groves

For couples craving something quieter and more grounded, the redwood groves offer a completely different energy. The towering trees create a peaceful, immersive environment that feels private and deeply intentional.

Perfect for slow mornings or first-look moments.

I help each couple choose the location that best fits the pace, privacy, and feeling they want their day to hold.
