Crystal Cove Laguna Beach Elopement
Randi and Logan wanted to keep their Crystal Cove Laguna Beach elopement intimate and personal so they invited a few family members to witness their ceremony, all of which are couples with most of them have been together for 20 or more years. Randi’s super adorable grandparents have been married for over 60 years and look more in love than ever, holding hands, and looking so happy for their grandchild getting married. They still have this incredible look of love and adoration for each other after all of this time.
The ceremony happened right in front of the courthouse in the early morning when the sun was starting to peek out from behind the clouds. We stayed for a little while after and captured some group photos and all of the adorable long term committed couples (I’m looking at you, grandparents) before heading to Crystal Cove for sunset portraits while the family went back to their houses to wait for the dinner party celebration. Sometimes I’m asked how to incorporate family into your elopement and this is such a great way! Having them join you for the ceremony but then separating for a few hours before dinner or celebration of some kind.
We leisurely walked around Crystal Cove exploring the beaches many miles of pathways eventually making our way towards the sunset. We frolicked on the beach just the three of us and breathed in all of that natural beauty. It’s really so calming and beautiful there and surprisingly rather quiet with not a lot of tourists. One of my favorite things about photographing elopements on the beach at sunset is all of the variation of color from the golden hour to dusk.
I’m an adventurous elopement and intimate wedding photographer helping couples craft a meaningful experience for their wedding day in nature. I focus on capturing the vibe of your day with all of the little moments that you may not remember are happening and the epic landscape views all over Santa Cruz, Los Angeles, California, and beyond.
